How do restaurant QR code menus work?
You create your menu on Menupresso, and we generate a unique QR code for it. Print the QR code and place it on tables, windows, or receipts. When a guest scans it with their smartphone camera, your menu opens instantly in their browser — no app download needed.
Can I create multiple menus for my restaurant?
Yes. Each account can have up to 10 menus, such as lunch, dinner, drinks and weekend brunch. Each menu has its own public link and QR code; the limit is per account, not per location.
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. Your menu is a regular web page that opens in any smartphone browser. Guests just scan the QR code (or tap a link) and they see your menu immediately. Nothing to install.
Can I update my menu after printing the QR code?
Yes. Save your changes while the menu is Live, and guests opening its link see the updated menu. The QR code still points to the same URL. Keep that menu published: deleting it or leaving it as a draft makes the public menu unavailable.
What can I customize on my menu?
You can choose separate fonts for headings and body text from a curated list of Google Fonts, pick a background color, add your restaurant logo, upload item photos, and tag dishes with dietary labels like Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-Free, Spicy, Nut-Free, and Dairy-Free.
